What is your role at Balance Point? As Implementation Specialist, I assist clients with our HRIS software. That includes employee onboarding, performance reviews, and benefits administration. One of my core responsibilities is getting clients set up for ACA and year-end ACA forms ready for filing.
The ACA is a very complicated law. Unfamiliarity can produce excessive IRS penalties. Showing clients how to manage the ACA for their business and incorporate it into best payroll practices has high priority.
How long have you worked at Balance Point? I will celebrate my two-year anniversary in September of 2021.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job? Understanding clients’ problems and providing practical solutions, that includes instructing them on how to navigate and use the software to accommodate their companies’ needs.
How does it make you feel when you receive positive feedback from a client? Awesome! In truth, it is the most rewarding part of any day. Working in the Customer Service Industry often gets underappreciated. Getting customer recognition is the difference between a good day and a great day!
What traits do you possess that make you successful at your job? Patience, and a desire to share my knowledge and expertise. I have learned it is more important to listen than it is to speak. This allows me to better identify a client’s needs.
When you’re not working, where can we find you? I love to cook, eat and entertain, and just relax in our swim spa. Travel and beach, staying active with biking, walking, HIIT workouts, outdoor activities including any games, ATV rides, and a good crime drama or movie on TV.
